Everything starts with Why.
You must get uncomfortable to achieve anything in life. (There is no comfort in the growth zone. There is no growth in the comfort zone). If you aren’t comfortable, you are not growing.
You must align your mind with the things that need to be done.
To succeed at anything requires a very simple formula: your Why followed by your Goals followed by (correct) Systems followed by (correct) Habits and Tactics followed by consistent action tweaking and improving along the way. No matter what you want to accomplish- if you follow these steps, you will succeed.
Those that succeed master the mundane.
Human potential is nearly limitless. You can do nearly anything you set yourself to do.
You can acquire new skills in any area at any time.
The “4 F’s” of life are ultra important: Faith, Family, Finances, and Fitness
It doesn’t matter who you are today. It only matters who you want to become and how hard you are willing to work to become that person.
Every person you meet is an amazing person. Everyone can teach you something. Learn from whomever you can.
Amor Fati. Embrace the obstacles in your life. Use them to fuel you to higher growth. Don’t look for pity because you are having challenges, look for growth. (Don’t be the person that would rather be pitied than praised)
Only you are keeping you from where you want to be. Not the market, not the competition, you and you only. Take extreme ownership of everything in your life. Being victimized is inevitable. Being the victim is a choice.
Only work in an environment and with people that move you toward your goals.
You can make excuses, or you can make money, but not both. Your stories and excuses are killing you.
To succeed you must maintain and grow. Maintain and grow.
Everyone has whirlwinds in life (whirlwinds- things that keep them from doing the things that take them towards their goals). You’re not special because you have whirlwinds in your life. The successful get their needle moving activities done while taking care of their whirlwinds. Unsuccessful take care of their whirlwinds first and try to give their work whatever is left over- and hence remain unsuccessful.
Success = RFC3
Never forget the “Law of Duality.”
To succeed at anything in life, you need to follow the law of Sufficiency and Consistency.
Adherence is the greatest indicator of success. You’re better off consistently following an inferior plan than someone inconsistently following a superior plan. Now, if you can find the superior plan and consistently follow it- therein lies the true magic.
Plan tomorrow today. Never start a day without the day fully planned out. Never start a week without the week fully planned out. Work on your toes, not your heals. Be proactive, not reactive.
Too busy means you’re not sufficiently organized.
